Camp Crook is located just across the Southeast Montana border along the Little Missouri River in Harding County South Dakota. It is a very small town with big views and vast wildlife. The BLM fire station in Camp Crook is a shared location with the USFS Sioux Ranger District in a newly constructed office building. The USFS has several housing options for both permanent and seasonal BLM fire employees.  Camp Crook has two Café/Bar options, a small Elementary School, Post Office, Community Center and a Volunteer Fire Department.
